Youth Forums |
There will be a number of different youth forums run at Jamboree. These forums give you a chance to have your say on any and all issues related to not just the Jamboree but to Scouting in general.
The Yackery
- Located in the main mall.
- Assortment of exciting games and activities.
- Patrols asked to provide input into various discussion forums.
- Sub Camp computer terminals for remote access.
- Staffed by National Youth Council members.
- Opportunity to discuss leadership roles in Scouting directly with other young people.
Sub Camp Forums
- Conducted in the yackery tent at each sub-camp.
- Sessions run in the evening.
- Representatives from every troop.
- Various sessions covering leadership development, inspirational speakers, games and activities, and opportunities to contribute to various discussion topics.
Senate
- Attended by elected representatives from each sub-camp forum.
- Full day of discussions and activities.
- Topics will be derived from sub-camp forums and the yackery.
