Where is Cataract?

Cataract Scout Park is an hour south of Sydney close to the town of Appin. Cataract is less than 30 minutes from Wollongong beaches and Lake Illawarra. There is easy road access from the west (Campbelltown) and the east (Bulli Tops) via Appin Road.

Activities Overview

The activities is what Jamboree is all about. Trying new things, having fun, going to new places and, mostly importantly, getting dirty in the mud. Every day will be filled with activities either at Cataract or at one of the off-site venues. There will be sailing, rope courses, water slides, sight-seeing and, of course, lots of mud.

The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. There will be a full programme of entertainment in the evening to help you unwind after a hard day. Music, comedy and much more in the main arena and other venues around Cataract. With so much to choose from everyone will find something they enjoy. Hopefully you will also find something new that you like.

Entertainment Schedule

There will be entertainment every night throughout the Jamboree. Music, movies, comedy and more. Something for everyone and more besides. (Although the exact details, such as which bands will be playing, will be kept as a surprise.)

Youth Forums

There will be a number of different youth forums run at Jamboree. These forums give you a chance to have your say on any and all issues related to not just the Jamboree but to Scouting in general.
